Breast Lift

Aging, childbirth, breastfeeding, and weight fluctuations can lead to sagging breasts. Breast lift surgery is of great importance in giving individuals the aesthetic, youthful breast posture they desire. Breast lift surgery is one of the most important aesthetic surgical procedures that must be performed with great care. It should be conducted by experienced and skilled plastic surgeons.

The patient’s body measurements, weight, skin structure, desired size after surgery, and expectations from the surgery should be taken into account when performing a breast lift.

Breast sagging occurs when the breast tissue moves downward due to the force of gravity. In some patients, there is enough breast tissue, and breast lift surgery alone will be sufficient. In other cases, the breasts are both sagging and have lost volume. In such cases, a combination of breast implants and breast lift surgery should be performed.

If the surgery is only a lift, it typically lasts about 2 hours. If both implants and lift are performed together, it takes about 3 to 3.5 hours.

POST-OPERATIVE SCARS

The scars after surgery are in the shape of an inverted T, similar to those from breast reduction surgery. Over time, and with the creams recommended by your doctor, the scars can become more acceptable.
