Hair Transplantation

Hair transplantation is one of the most popular aesthetic procedures today. Hair loss, shedding, and baldness are common issues, especially for men, although women can also be affected. In men, hair loss often increases with age or occurs at a young age, which can make them appear older than they actually are. For example, a young man in his 20s who experiences hair loss may give off the image of a 35-40-year-old. With hair transplantation, these individuals can restore their youthful appearance and have more aesthetic hairstyles. Transplanted hair grows back in a natural and permanent way.

In a hair transplant, the patient’s own healthy hair from the back of the neck (donor area) is transplanted into the balding areas, covering up the gaps. The hair in the nape is genetically programmed to resist hair loss, so the transplanted hair will never fall out again, no matter how many years pass. This results in a permanent and natural-looking restoration of hair for the patient. After the procedure, the patient feels more confident and content, continuing their life with renewed self-esteem.

Why Does Hair Fall Out?

There are many known and unknown causes of hair loss. Stress, genetics, diet, environmental factors, certain skin diseases, hormonal imbalances, and burns that cause the scalp to lose its vitality are some of the most common reasons. Likewise, women can also experience male-pattern hair loss, often caused by stress or hormonal factors.
